De roep van het onbekende: durf de grenzen te verleggen.
Laat jouw team de comfortzone verlaten en omarm de onvoorspelbaarheid van open water. Zeilen naar de doorbraak. Op het dek van ons zeilschip zullen ze geconfronteerd worden met de krachten van de natuur en hun eigen grenzen. Maar juist daar, in het oog van de spreekwoordelijke storm, zullen ze ontdekken wat het betekent om écht te leiden én te volgen. Door na elke set van manoeuvres en oefeningen de link te maken naar de persoon, het team en de organisatie zet je zelf de stap naar verandering.
Het alternatief voor het welbekende dagje op de hei met een team. Op de ‘hei’ kan je weglopen, je terugtrekken of in de pauze even snel je mail checken. Aan boord van een schip werken andere krachten. Er is een hiërarchie: de schipper heeft altijd gelijk. Hoe voelt dat voor de MT-leden? Kunnen zij orders aannemen? De CEO/directeur is aan boord gelijk aan de manager HR, finance of bijvoorbeeld supply chain.
Samen letterlijk de stip op de horizon bereiken. Wanneer ga je overstag/gijpen? Welke handelingen horen daarbij? Hoe communiceer je vooraf en tijdens de manoeuvre? Hoe corrigeer je jezelf en elkaar als iemand zijn of haar taak niet goed uitvoert? Hoe kan je op zulke momenten je sterke kanten als persoon inzetten om je team op te tillen? Er is geen enkele omgeving zo onvoorspelbaar als een zeilschip: je hebt geen invloed op het weer en boos worden op de wind heeft al helemaal geen zin (maar het gebeurt wel!). Daarnaast komen er soms andere Bokito-krachten boven: laten deelnemers zich voorstaan op hun fysieke kracht? Schamen deelnemers zich omdat ze misschien wat minder sterk zijn? Hoe reageren de andere deelnemers op deze uitingen?

Het opzetten van een strategie iets anders is dan het realiseren ervan. Aan het einde van deze epische reis is het duidelijk hoe ze handen en voeten moeten geven aan de strategie. Elke deelnemer zal het schip verlaten met een vuur in het
